If Persecution comes will (You be Ready?)

If Persecution comes will (You be Ready?)
So this is my question will you be ready if persecution comes to America? If so that it seems your are ready, will you be able to help others in the time of persecution.
If not you need to get ready! Because if it does come in our time how will we be able to handle it. What if they take your Bibles from you, you know they come into our home when we are gone and take are Bible's from us.

So the question then comes how much Scripture have you memorized? That's funny because people are so used to having the Bible wherever they go on their I-phone or one in their car. But never one in the mind and heart. I have had many people tell me they don't even read there Bible.

Let me tell you something, I don't memorize Scripture to be a know-it-all. But so that I can commune with God, and be rooted in the Word of God.
Please understand me I don't memorize something that I am not willing to apply to my life, but don't think the application will come overnight but only through deep meditation. You meditate little and you get little. Do you prepare a meal and not eat it, that's the same with Scripture, you must meditate on it to grow.

I make one more turn around the corner, let me ask you something:
Can you explain the doctrine of the Bible to me or not? If so please show me? Now what do I mean simple. Tell me about the Glory of God can you? Well what would be your answer? Here let me show you the The Glory of God:

Glory of God

So I what I mean is this memorize good theology. You don't have to do the references, but memorize the sub topics. And do that with other doctrine and you will start to see yourself grow. I recommend one good resource is the MacArthur study Bible, in the back of the Bible before you get to the concordance there is about 30 pages of good sound doctrine write them out on 3X5 cards. Start memorizing them say them while walking back and forth don't read it; but Quote it.

Then review it weekly for a year, then monthly for two years, than every other month for two years, then every 90 days for the rest of your life. Get a good big card box, get index cards and write each day of the week on each card, and when that day comes up you review your cards on that day. Hope this will help you grow. Oh one more don't put to many sub topics on one card keep it too 7-8 sub topics per card, that will make it easy to memorize that way.

God Bless and may the rich blessing of the Lord be with You. Mike Tryban!
