Excuses Exucses

Excuses Exucses, that's all I ever hear from people I give them a question and they give me an answer. Here is what I ask them, "did you read your Bible today." And they tell me, No! "Oh I got real busy today." Yeah I hear that all the time and thousand other excuses why they didn't read their Bible. Man there has never been so much resources given to us to use than today. So why is it you eat regular food until you are about to burst but you can't even crack open the bible and read it. And you wonder why you fall into sin well thats not hard to figure out quite simple in fact, cause you have not opened-up His Word what do you expect to happen. Come on it is a no brainer, you don't eat you starve and get weak.

But what about your physical food you know how to feed your stomach. Well when you get hungry do you starve yourself no of course not; you go and get something to eat duh. So that's the same with the Bible when you get hungry for spiritual food you go to the Word of God, for your food so that you do not become weak. Because a weak Christian can't do anything becuase he does not know the Word!

Oh how I pray that you will
grow a hunger for God's
Word that you may run to His
Word and be satisfied and nourished.

Don't starve yourself of the spiritual food that you so need. If you have trouble understanding the Word get a `MacArthur Study Bible.` Now Get
in the Word and be obedient to God. God Bless....

Do we delight in the Word of God? Do we rejoice
in God's Word as one who finds great
spoil? (see Psalm 119:162).
The key is to consume the Word of God, to
meditate upon the Word, digest it and it becomes
part of us. The Bible is a supernatural
book. It can give us supernatural energy to do
the will of God (see also Nehemiah 8:1-12). Too
many fail to read the Bible every day. They find
time to feed their stomach each day, but refuse
to make time to read God's Word. Don't let
your belly take precedence over reading the
Bible. Forget your food rather than forget the
Word of God (see Exodus 34:28).
